Constructionline is the UK’s leading procurement and supply chain management service that collects, assesses and monitors standard company information through a question set that is aligned to PAS 91, the standardised pre-qualification questionnaire developed by BSI to reduce duplication within the construction industry.
The aim is to provide efficiency savings to public and private sector buyers and the construction industry as a whole by streamlining procurement procedures and improving the supply chain management processes by reducing risk, creating cost efficiencies and helping buyers engage with new suppliers, including SMEs and local companies.
Health and Safety Accreditation.
SMAS (Safety Management Advisory System) is a member of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) Forum. Since the launch of SSIP, many Clients and Principal Contractors now adopt an SSIP approach to H&S pre-qualification and will only use contractors who hold a valid and in date Scheme certificate issued by an SSIP Forum member. Holding a valid SSIP Member Scheme certificate means that a contractor will have demonstrated their Stage 1 H&S competence by meeting the SSIP ‘core criteria’ which is in line with the H&S module in PAS91.
ISO9001:2008 Quality Procedures / Process Accreditation.
QMS originally pioneered the process of combining the ISO consultancy and certification elements into one single process, but since then their services have been developed to assist clients with a wide range of management systems and Certifications (including UKAS).
Over the years QMS employs a practical and pragmatic approach to management systems for the benefit of the Organisations they work with.
FIS work on behalf of our membership to raise awareness, increase the influence of the sector and make the most of opportunities through advice, training, technical support and dialogue with government and other bodies.
FIS represents a growing sector, addressing key issues that affect our specialist members. FIS Ensure the sector has enough people with the right skills working to high technical standards, and to embed a culture of quality and sustainable development. We focus on innovation because that creates a better tomorrow, but we are rigorous about health and safety because that affects the way we work today.
